Footer

The footer section of my website shows the website logo on the far left, and then contains 3 columns which each contains a hyperlink leading to its respective page as shown as its text.







Quick Menu

The quick menu shows 4 buttons and one drop down below them, to further explain each I will be doing so in bullet points to improve readability:
  • Home: This text redirects the user to the home-page.
  • Shop: This text redirects the user to the shop-page.
  • About: This text redirects the user to the about-page.
  • Contact: This text redirects the user to the contact-page.

  • Currency Drop-down menu: This allows the selection of currencies, although to add more than one currency a paid version is required which is why there is no option other than British pounds at the moment.

Policy and FAQ

  • Returns and refunds: This text redirects the user to the Return and refunds-page.
  • Store policy: This text redirects the user to the Store Policy-page.
  • Payment methods: This text redirects the user to the Payment methods-anchor.
  • FAQ: This text redirects the user to the FAQ-page.

  • Donate: This wix App button showcases the acceptable payment methods on the website and at the same time allows donation via Paypal.


Connect

In this part of the footer, social media icons are shown which are accompanied by the account usernames for their respective platforms. Clicking either the icon or the text will redirect the consumer to the mentioned social platform of the E-commerce business. Below an example is shown by viewing the settings of the first option or text, the twitter username. Clicking this button will open a new window linking the consumer to the twitter account '@sabooksofficial'.




And finally, at the bottom left corner of the footer is another Wix App which allows the users to select the choice of having their data not shared which enhances their privacy and improves the trust they have to the website.

Pros and Cons of E-commerce

  It was reported with the help of statistics that electronic retail sales are predicted to rise up to 4.8 trillion dollars by 2021 (Ferreira, 2019). Choice of E-commerce

Electronic Books My website will be following the Business-to-Consumer(B2C) E-commerce model as the products are aimed to be sold to none other than the consumers themselves. Two similar websites I am going to be researching two different websites that are famous or known to be selling E-books which are :   1)Ebooks:  This below, is the e-Books.com home-page.
