Excel - Products Development

Image
Product Datasheet The products stored in the Excel database are 10 as shown below, each having: A product ID Product name Author Type Unit price Sale price Unit sold Unit expenses Total sale Profit As shown in the screenshot, I have formatted the column titles highlighting them with a light-peach colour, added a filter option and formatted the table cells showing the borders. To view the formulas used, I went to the formulas tab and located the 'Show Formulas' option. Upon clicking it, all formulas that were used are shown as seen below. Here I used a mixture of both functions and formulas to calculate certain values. Moving on, using the above data I have made three different charts where one illustrates the number of units sold per product while the other two show the amount gained as total sales per product. The total sales are shown in two different graphs, one being a bar chart while the other is a pie chart. The graph above could be very helpful in determining ways to imp...

Databases

What is a database An electronic database is a collection of data or information that is structured in a way to ease the storing, retrieval, modification and removal of data and is organised for quick search and retrieval by a computer(BRITANNICA, 2020). As Kappagantula(2019) explains, a "DBMS or Database Management System is a software application used to access, create, and manage databases". In other words, a DBMS allows the retrieval, updating and creation of data from a database with ease.  Furthermore, with the aid of commands, a database can be manipulated and made to act as an interface between an end user and a database (Kappagantula, 2019). Some of the advantages of using a DBMS according to PRASHANT(n.d) are: -Minimising data inconsistency -Controlling duplicate data -Easy data manipulation -Easy data sharing -Better data security -Multiple users are able to access the data at once Two examples of database software are: Microsoft Access DBMS MySQL (LEARNCOMPUTERSCI...

The 4Ps

Image
What are the 4 Ps? According to Patel(n.d),  the 4Ps in the field of marketing is a model that encapsulates the four fundamental pillars of marketing strategies. These four being: Product Price Place Promotion                                                       (Smalley, 2017) Which Ps am I going to be concentrated on? For my E-commerce website, I am going to be mainly concentrating on the product and promotion out of the 4Ps. The products should be compelling to yield higher traffic which is why it is one that should be focused on.  The promotion is going to involve promoting the products on social media platforms such as Instagram which could also increase the amount of viewers for the business. Website Construction - FAQ Development

Image
F&Q First of all, I have looked at the FAQ section of the 'ebooks.com' website which had plenty of questions available. Then I searched up hives' FAQ section in which the refund and payment methods caught my attention. So after researching both the FAQs of the e-book sites mentioned above, I managed to compile 11 Questions to add to my FAQ part of the site. These questions being: Do I need a special software or a hardware to read the E-books bought? Can I download the E-books I bought to my computer? Can I print the E-books? Which payment methods do you accept? Are there any benefits of reading E-books? Is it possible to request books for recovery? What is the refund policy? Is it possible to refund a product? How do I order a cancellation? Are the products downloadable in areas other than the United Kingdom? Are the recovered books 100% authentic? With the help of the Wix FAQ app, I was able to add the questions along with answers to them easily and neatly. The answers...
